Walt Disney World® Resorts

Where do we stay?

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is Youth Worker Summit’s all-in-one stop for lodging, food, and worship. The resort offers great rooms styled with a Southwestern flair, a well-designed convention center, and several swimming pools.

The hotel provides a beautiful setting, and we are excited to offer these great accommodations and conference center for YWS. The rooms come with two queen beds, a refrigerator, a coffee pot, a hair dryer, and have hookups for internet access (at additional cost).

Coronado Springs Resort bosts an amazing pool that surrounds a waterfall that cascades down the steps of a Mayan Pyramid.

Transportation

Once you arrive, all your ground transportation is covered! If you are flying, transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport is provided by Disney's Magical Express. The Magical Express will even pick up your luggage at the airport and deliver it to your room. That means after you check your bags at your local airport, the next time you see them, they will be in your room! Youth Worker Summit will provide you with the information you need to make the necessary arrangements for your group so you can take advantage of this wonderful service.

Transportation to theme parks will be provided by the Walt Disney World® Transportation system. This system is efficient and comprehensive – allowing you to get almost anywhere on the Walt Disney World Resort property in a timely manner.

Free Time in the Parks!

Many know of the reputation of the Disney Institute – where professionals and executives learn management techniques developed by the Disney team.  That same Institute has begun a series of successful Youth Group Programs including the Disney Youth Education Series which transports students inside and behind-the-scenes of Walt Disney World® Theme Parks to showcase educational principles.

The Youth Worker Summit has been granted permission to take our conference attendees on a overview tour of the Disney Y.E.S. programs.  Several of these programs can have strong Christian Education implications: such as Millennium Cultures which discusses aspects of culture from around the world, and The American Story which looks at our nation’s founding, the fight for religious freedom and our national struggle through slavery. Youth groups can purchase Y.E.S. programs that come with discounted park tickets, creating a one-of-a-kind weekend retreat or summer trip.

And the best news is, after the tour, every conference attendee will have a complimentary Park Hopper® ticket and all afternoon to explore!  The cost of this ticket and tour is included with your registration fee. You may want to return to Epcot® that evening to see Disney's Candlelight Processional, which includes a stirring retelling of the Christmas story accompanied by an orchestra and choir.  Then, catch a glimpse of IllumiNations, a laser and light show overtop the World Showcase Lagoon.
